Owl Full Moon Placemat by Sue Welfare
We are delighted to be stocking artist Sue Welfare’s range of placemats, each one with a stunning design.
The Owl Full Moon Placemat by Sue Welfare is created from one of the artist’s original hand printed lino cuts. It’s a perfect square size to accommodate dinner plates and in heavyweight melamine with cork backing will protect delicate table tops and table cloths from spills and heat. The laminate surface is practical and wipes clean easily.
A silent and stealthy hunter the Barn Owl is equipped with super sensitive hearing; the left ear picks up sounds from below, the right from those above, allowing it to locate its prey with great accuracy. Known as the Ghost Owl because of its moonlight-reflecting white wings and feathers that allow completely silent flight, the Barn Owl likes to take a vole or two by stealth.
You can mix and match this Owl Full Moon Placemat by Sue Welfare with other designs or just buy singly! Placemats make an ideal gift for birthdays house-warming and other occasions.
