Bee Eater Gifts Ltd Delivery Policy

Here at Bee Eater Gifts Ltd we pride ourselves on excellent customer service and that includes delivering your goods to you. This policy contains everything you need to know about delivery information.

We know that you don’t want to wait days for your order to arrive. That’s why we send every order within the UK Mainland by Courier or Royal Mail.

How long will it take?

Standard Service – 3-5 working days

First Class Service – 1-2 working days

Although we promise to dispatch your order quickly, we cannot guarantee that Couriers or the Royal Mail will deliver within this timescale, particularly whilst the pandemic is affecting people’s working patterns. Parcels may take longer to reach their destinations including those sent to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.  For Europe and the rest of the world see International Orders.

How much will it cost?

The cost of shipping depends on the value of your order, its weight and how quickly you want your purchases (and will be automatically calculated at checkout)!

Orders over £50

  • Standard delivery is FREE anywhere in the UK Mainland!
  • If you need your order more quickly, you can pay a supplement of £3.50 for First Class or £5.00 for Next Day delivery.

 

Cards – just 99p – for orders of 1 to 4 greetings cards or multipacks anywhere in UK Mainland.

Standard Service

  • £3.50 for parcels under 2kg anywhere in UK Mainland
  • £6.50 for parcels 2kg and over anywhere in UK Mainland

 

First Class             

  • £6.95 for parcels under 2kg anywhere in UK Mainland
  • £12.00 for parcels 2kg and over anywhere in UK Mainland

 

Next day 

  • £13.95 for orders placed Monday to Thursday pre-2pm

 

Saturday delivery

  • £14.95 for orders placed Monday to Thursday pre-2pm

 

Is there anything else I should know?
Occasionally, if an item is very popular stocks may run low and we may not be able to fulfil an order as quickly as we would like. If this is the case we will contact you by email as soon as possible.

Couriers and the Royal Mail may not consider some postcodes to be UK Mainland and higher postage costs may be incurred.

Your full order will be held before dispatch until all items are present, unless otherwise agreed.

How will my parcel be sent to the  Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland?

Standard Service – small items will be sent by Royal Mail and should take 3 – 4 working days for delivery. If the item does not arrive within this time scale please contact your local sorting office to ask if they are holding the item for you.

Larger items will be sent by Courier and should be with you within 2 – 3 working days.

How will my item(s) be sent to Republic of Ireland? 

We have managed to secure extremely good courier rates to the Republic and therefore all items will be sent using our Courier.

What about sending internationally?

All of our items can currently be sent overseas. However delivery may take longer and occasionally Customs in the destination country may levy charges. Payment of any such charges, taxes or import duties will be your responsibility and you must comply with the applicable laws and regulations held within the destination country. You might therefore want to check with the local customs office for further information prior to placing your order.

How will my item(s) be sent in Western Europe?

All items will be sent using our Courier so that all items are traceable.

How will my item(s) be sent to the rest of the world?

All items will be sent using our Courier so that all items are traceable.

Please note we have made every effort to make our shipping charges as accurate as possible, however occasionally the amount charged may be insufficient to cover the cost. If this is the case you will be given the opportunity to either pay the additional amount or alternatively we can cancel your order and issue a full refund.

How will I know when my order has been dispatched?

When your order has been dispatched we will email you to let you know. Orders are not dispatched on weekends and bank holidays.

Help! I haven’t received my parcel, what should I do?

Contact us – we will do anything we can to help. If an item sent by Royal Mail has not been received it can often be found at the local sorting office awaiting collection. If not, the Royal Mail has a specific procedure that we can follow in the event of a missing parcel – please let us know as soon as possible. Royal Mail does not class an item as missing until 15 working days have passed. Replacements or refunds for undelivered orders won’t be possible until after this time.

If your order has been dispatched with our Courier then we can track and trace it using their online system.

For deliveries to Europe and the rest of the world, if your item is not collected and is returned to us then we will issue a refund minus the cost of postage to Bee Eater Gifts Ltd. If not received, these items will not be deemed to be missing until 15 working days have passed.
