Badger Notebook by Perkins and Morley
£3.75This beautiful Badger Notebook – featuring Jan Morley’s illustration against a bright blue background – is a Perkins and Morley classic. This collaborative duo have been working together for decades, paving the way for other entrepreneurs and championining British design and manufacture.
Badgers live in social groups, typically made up of around four to seven individuals. Mating occurs year-round, predominantly between February and May. Youngsters will stay underground for around two months before first emerging. Cubs typically reach maturity at just over one year old. Some will stay with the family, while others will disperse to find new territory.
The Badger Notebook, though the perfect stocking filler, is not just for Christmas! It’s the right size for school bags and handbags, and would make a perfect present at any time of year.

£13.95The Seabirds Guillemot Mug by Madeleine Floyd features this stylish black (actually brown) and white seabird alongside three of his other sea-going companions and some aquatic plantlife in an exquisite water colour drawing.
The Guillemot’s three companions, the Herring Gull, Gannet and Arctic Skua are all on the conservation list and need protection. The Guillemot however can be seen in significant numbers on steep coastal cliffs though it comes only to nest, spending the rest of its life at sea.
