Puffin Chopping Board – Sandra Vick
This beautiful puffin chopping board features artist Sandra Vick’s black and white design of puffins. Although depicted here in monochrome, puffins are the most colourful of the Auk family of birds. On the endangered species list since 2015, these loyal little birds mate for life but take a break from each other over Winter before reuniting at their breeding grounds in Spring.
The puffin chopping board is made of melamine and shows the puffin design on one side and a wood effect on the reverse which is the chopping surface. Part of Sandra’s ‘names’ collection, on its decorative side this chopping board includes the Puffin’s latin name – Fratercula arctica – as well as the many other monikers by which it is known!
