Guinea Fowl Winter Walk Placemat by Sue Welfare
We are delighted to be stocking artist Sue Welfare’s range of placemats, each one with a stunning design.
The Guinea Fowl Winter Walk Placemat by Sue Welfare is created from one of the artist’s original hand printed lino cuts. It’s a perfect square size to accommodate dinner plates and in heavyweight melamine with cork backing will protect delicate table tops and table cloths from spills and heat. The laminate surface is practical and wipes clean easily.
Guinea fowl were introduced to the UK as pest terminators! They love nothing better than to feast on ticks, beetles and caterpillars making them a favourite with farmers. They’re also pretty noisy – their loud, harsh squawks when alarmed are prized where other gamebirds are being reared and they’re particularly useful at keeping pheasants on the straight and narrow! We love them for their camouflage and colouring, captured beautifully on this placemat by the artist.
You can mix and match this Guinea Fowl Winter Walk Placemat by Sue Welfare with other designs or just buy singly! Placemats make an ideal gift for Christmas, birthdays, house-warming and any other special occasion.
