Jacob Pugh crafts each of his birds at his furniture workshop in York with loving attention to the finish.  Bird (Walnut Yellow) reminds us (with poetic licence!) of the Yellowhammer which we’re lucky enough to see, occasionally, close to Bee Eater HQ!

An afficionado of hedges and bushes, Yellowhammers have a sweet song.  They are currently on the UK Birds of Conservation Concern Red List due to a decline in numbers following loss of habitat.

Made in solid walnut, Bird (Walnut Yellow) is delicately balanced so that it can stand upright and fix you with a beady stare, or you can place it beak down as though drinking or feasting, the choice is yours!  Either way, it’s perfect to add a personal touch to your workspace, kitchen, sitting room, study or even the smallest room in the house!
