Her latin name – Cyanistes Caeruleus – clearly identifies the blue tit by her beautiful colours. With a body mass of just 10g she’s small but beautifully formed, featured here perched on a seedhead, looking for tasty treats no doubt!
Designed by the highly skilled artist Stephen Lennon, the Blue Tit greetings card is part of his Songbirds & Seedheads range. Stephen’s designs start as a drawing, often from life, inspired and informed by his considerable botanical knowledge honed as a nurseryman. His cards are printed locally (he’s a Yorkshireman in exile, now to be found in Northumberland) and the production of them supports many small businesses.
