Jacob Pugh crafts each of his birds at his furniture workshop in York with loving attention to the finish.  Bird (Walnut Red) reminds us of the Robin which inspired all his other birds!

The Robin is one of the UK’s most well-loved garden birds and is considered by some to be our national bird.  Whilst most survive barely more than a year, the oldest robin on record clocked up 19 years!  The last to bed and the first to rise, the robin is a year round companion to gardeners and tolerates humans more readily than most garden birds.

Made in solid walnut, Bird (Walnut Red) is delicately balanced so that it can stand upright and fix you with a beady stare, or you can place it beak down as though drinking or feasting, the choice is yours!  Either way, it’s perfect to add a personal touch to your workspace, kitchen, sitting room, study or even the smallest room in the house!
