Nuthatch Greetings Card 

This blue-grey, white and chestnut-coloured bird is an avian acrobat, able to descend head-first and hang upside down beneath twigs and branches.  Nuthatches will sometimes plaster mud around the entrance of their nesting hole, which makes it smaller and less accessible to competitors and predators.

Designed by the highly skilled artist Stephen Lennon, the Nuthatch greetings card is part of his Songbirds & Seedheads range.  Stephen’s designs start as a drawing, often from life, inspired and informed by his considerable botanical knowledge honed as a nurseryman.  His cards are printed locally (he’s a Yorkshireman in exile, now to be found in Northumberland) and the production of them supports many small businesses.
