Great White Egret Greetings Card

The Great White Egret is a relatively recent resident in the UK and is the largest of the three egret species which can now be found here.  Similar in size to the Heron, it has black feet and legs (distinguishing it from the Little Egret).  Like the Heron, the Great White Egret stalks its prey patiently, standing still for long periods, which makes it easy to spot.

Designed by the highly skilled artist Stephen Lennon, the Great White Egret greetings card is part of his Wildfowl and Wetland Birds range.  All Stephen’s designs start as a drawing, often from life.  His cards are printed locally (he’s a Yorkshireman in exile, now to be found in Northumberland) and the production of them supports many small businesses.
