Goldfinch Card by Kate Heiss

Goldfinch Card by Kate Heiss
From the printmaker’s Songbirds collection, the Goldfinch Card by Kate Heiss features this much-loved songbird, printed from an original linocut design in bright, bold colours, with the bird’s name stamped directly into the artwork. The card is printed on beautiful textured board and finished with deboss.
The Goldfinch’s latin name is Carduelis Carduelis. It’s one of the UK’s most brightly coloured birds with its wonderful red mask and yellow wings. Encouragingly they seem to be making a comeback, being spotted in two thirds of all our gardens in the RSPB’s recent annual Bird Watch.
